“We are excited about our partnership with ARS,” says Richard. “Their team is professional, caring, and their attention to detail is unmatched. The Hyssongs are looking forward to a long and successful relationship.”

Mark Dubbeld Family
The Mark Dubbeld Family from Moneta, Virginia are noted for their family harmony, originally penned songs and a sincere desire to communicate the Gospel through their music and testimony. This family has been making an impact in the field of Southern Gospel for several years now, garnering multiple top 40 songs and receiving nominations for a couple of years for Favorite New Artist in the Singing News Fan Awards. The group consists of Mark and Janene Dubbeld along with their children, Elena and Britton. Each of them play an active role in the ministry and strive to reach all generations with their songs.

This trio consists of long-time friends Jonathan Thompson and brothers, Ivan Hughart and Byron Hughart. Their first radio single, “Lovin’ Every Minute of It”, was released in the early part of 2023 and rose to the #30 spot in November that year on the Singing News chart. 8th Steet has quickly become a favorite among newer artists for DJs.

“We have really enjoyed having Jaquita involved with our last three projects and we’re excited about our relationship with ARS,” says Thompson, tenor for 8th Street. “From our first album in 2021 until now, our interactions with the entire staff have been handled with utmost care and consideration. Jaquita always responds quickly and accurately to whatever needs our music ministry requires. We are thankful for the professionalism and courtesy.”

They strive to communicate the hope and forgiveness that can be found through a relationship with Jesus as well as encourage and spur on fellow believers to live for Him.

“Phillips and Banks are so thrilled to begin working with ARS. Our goal in joining forces is getting the message of the Gospel out through our music to as many people as possible. Kim and Jaquita have been so kind in welcoming us into the ARS family, and we couldn’t be happier to start our partnership!” says Jacob Phillips.

Soli Deo Gloria, translated “To the glory of God alone,” features a collection of 13 songs that offer honor and praise to the Creator of the universe.

Soli Deo Gloria once again pairs The Kramers with multi-award winning producer/arranger Wayne Haun to bring a recording that captures the essence of true worship. With powerful lyrical content, this project combines masterful vocals and instrumentation to create a sound that transports each listener into God’s presence.

Haun shared his sentiments about the recording, “The Kramers are some of the only artists I know who can release an album and already have it be a success. Their single releases have already landed on some of the most loved editorial playlists around the world. Now we get to experience the entire recording, and that’s something to celebrate!”

With this latest release, Scott and Rachel Kramer, along with their daughter, Maria, and son-in-law, Ben Wolfe, continue to provide audiences with the rich diversity that has made them favorites with listeners of all ages. Soli Deo Gloria will no doubt set a new standard for this extraordinary family.

The debut single, “There’s A Light Shining In Bethlehem,” was welcomed by radio stations nationwide and added to multiple editorial playlists throughout the Christmas season, as it was released prior to the 2024 holidays. Other songs on the recording that are expected to receive national attention include “He Remembers My Sin No More,” an upbeat, sure-to-get-your-toes-tapping tune that celebrates the grace and mercy of a forgiving Father, as well as “Cleft Of The Rock,” a moving ballad of prayer from prolific writers Marcia Henry, Blake Walker and Allison Speer. The title cut from the pens of Steven Taylor and Geron Davis, is a true song of praise that is complemented by lush orchestrations and a choral accompaniment that truly captures the wonder and glory of the King of kings and Lord of lords.

Maria Kramer expressed her thoughts about their new release, “Soli Deo Gloria is a collection of songs we have worked on for two years. Our hope and prayer is for these songs to resonate in the hearts of many and carry people through all seasons of life, remembering that God is always with them, and He receives ALL the glory and praise!”

Over the past five years, The Kramers have enjoyed tremendous success, including the 2020 nomination from readers of The Singing News Magazine for New Artist of theYear, as well as multiple radio hits “Sing Me There,” “What the Soldiers Didn’t See” and “I Know There’s a Heaven.” Building on the momentum of their previous release, Soli Deo Gloria seems to be the recording that may very well catapult this flourishing family into yet another realm of success, as it transports the listener to a place of worship!

Distributed exclusively by Provident/Sony, Soli Deo Gloria is available on all digital platforms worldwide. Stream the full project here.

The Browns Announce Plans for New Theater in Le Mars, IA https://singingnews.com/news/the-browns-announce-plans-for-new-theater-in-le-mars-ia/ https://singingnews.com/news/the-browns-announce-plans-for-new-theater-in-le-mars-ia/#respond Tue, 17 Dec 2024 19:59:40 +0000 https://singingnews.com/?p=112450 Read More]]> Le Mars, IA – As they embark on the final week of their highly successful holiday concert series, with the final show on December 21, popular musical family The Browns announced plans to build a brand new theater in their hometown of Le Mars, IA. The family has enjoyed tremendous success over the past decade hosting events in their hometown. In fact, the family was honored in November by U.S. Senator Joni Ernst (R-Iowa), who named the Browns Century Theater of Plymouth County her Small Business of the Week. The honor bestowed upon the talented musical family will be recorded in the United States Congressional Record for future generations to read about our nation’s small businesses.

After taking their family band on the road across the United States, Canada, and Europe for 15 years, the Browns returned home to Iowa and purchased the German-American Savings Bank in downtown Le Mars. They transformed the historic building into the Browns Century Theater, a venue that seats 150 people and now includes the Central Event Center for dining, the Inn on Central for visiting guests, and the Gift Shoppe. The theater has hosted 100 shows every year since its opening in 2015, featuring the family’s music and other artists from across the country. This year, the Browns celebrated the 24th anniversary of performing together and the 9th anniversary of the Browns Century Theater.

The Browns kicked off their annual holiday concert series at the Century Theater on November 8. Throughout November and December, the talented musical family has shared the Wonder of the Christmas Season, presenting 35 shows throughout the six weeks, with the final show taking place this week on December 21.

“Over the past five plus years, our family has produced 35 to 40 Christmas shows and an additional 60 shows between March and October,” Michaela Brown said. “ We love doing this but have come to the realization that we have simply outgrown the space,” Michaela Brown states. “With a capacity of 150 people per show, we have worked hard to produce extra shows to accommodate demand but have still been unable to accommodate everyone wanting to attend, which is a really good problem to have. We have realized that we need a larger facility.”

In looking at the high demand for the shows for this current Holiday season, Keith Brown, husband to Shelly and father to Michaela, Adam, and Andrew, brought up the idea of building a new facility. The new facility will be located directly behind the current facility. Plans are expected to include a 400-seat Theater and double the space for the Gift Shoppe, Chocolate counters, concessions, and larger restrooms. Construction on the new Theater will begin on March 1st, with an opening date scheduled for October 2025. “We are excited to be able to triple the space, and the new facility will have no stairs, which will be great news to our regular attendees,” Michaela explains.

January 2025 will mark The Browns 25th Anniversary of singing together as a family and opening the new Theater is one of the exciting ways this talented musical family will continue to share their love of music with others!
